The mission of the Outreach Department of the Genome Sequencing Center at Washington University School of Medicine, is to promote and increase diversity in genomic science. Our programs are designed to train students in genomic science and to provide mechanisms for them to pursue higher levels of education. Our department is also a conduit for the community at large to learn about genomic science and its impact on human health.
